Every Day is Burnout Day

Every day is burnout day.

You can have a burnout right now
and you should.
There’s a key that gives access.

Do it every morning
every evening
every moment
of every day.

Burnout is the best thing that can happen to you.
We chose the opposite: burnout prevention.

Burnout prevention has many forms.
There have been developed many tools and formats,
even workshops now.
We became truly remarkably creative in developing ever-new toys in the department of “self-hypnosis-maintained-through-entertainment.”

or, its etymology

entertain (v.)

late 15c., "to keep up, maintain, to keep (someone) in a certain frame of mind,"

We would do everything really to stick to that frame of mind.

We find burnout prevention in the form of:
a fixed monthly salary,
Netflix series,
yoga flows,
TGIF,
our Thursday’s gin&tonic,
our social club,
living our school playground role,
Ikea furniture,
monthly scheduled talks with the psychologist,
10’ guided mindfulness meditation apps,
that complete exotic spices set,
the happiness podcast,
thé iconic Ray-Ban glasses,
comfort foods that destroy our gut,
ginger shots,
tantra “become the multi-orgasmic you” Zoom invitations,
‘my’ morning moods,
becoming ‘my’ best version,
workouts-of-the-day,
“it’s moon-day…”,
evening news,
Gary Vaynerchuck’s motivational talks,
like-for-like,
burn-out prevention training programs!

Preventing burning out,
we prevent
what came to save us.
We numb
our healer with…
a pill.
We soothe the rash
that inflamed our skin
to heal it
with the newest Nivea body lotion.
We lose our life
through treatments.

We are afraid of death,
we are afraid of life
and the solution we settle for is comfort
- to stay comfortably fearful -
while the solution is in what we prevent: burn out!

Burnout arose from self-maintained lies
to burn out all that is false,
burnout came after our self-hypocrisy.
It came to help.
It is a force of Love.

Burnout is the disease that does not need a pill.
Burnout is the healer framed as disease.
Don’t tell it to leave, follow, burn out
and let it burn out all that needs burning.
Follow burnout and let it heal you.

Comfortable in fear of death, in fear of life
I must kill my comforts,
my lazy habits,
my dearly held thought constructions,
I must burn myself out completely,
so I am survives.

If it’s important, burn out every day.
